Q-COMP hits the road with Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland

In 2010 Q-COMP created the Education Promotion Team to explore and develop education and research initiatives regarding the workers' compensation scheme for rehabilitation and return to work coordinators and employers. Throughout the year the team has launched a range of tools, resources and programs designed to assist with better return to work outcomes.

WorkCover - Getting on track with workers' compensation

WorkCover will provide an update on the recent reforms for Queensland's workers' compensation scheme, an overview of WorkCover's 'On Track' claims management, guidance on working with WorkCover to achieve good claim outcomes, and information about WorkCover's premium consultancy service.

CCIQ - Enhancing leadership behaviours for improved rehabilitation outcomes

Management support of the injured worker is critical for successful rehabilitation. How the manager or supervisor behaves towards the injured worker and what they say can have a profound impact on the rehabilitation outcome. By enhancing the leadership behaviours of managers, rehabilitation outcomes can be maximised."

Organisations and businesses, members and non-members of CCIQ, rehabilitation coordinators and those working in rehabilitation, return to work or workers' compensation from across Queensland will be invited to the seminars.
