We've recently established the Q-COMP research committee (QRC) to help oversee and manage projects, requests and initiatives funded by Q-COMP. All projects must aim to further our knowledge and understanding of the workers' compensation scheme with tangible outcomes.
Current projects underway include an evaluation of Return to work assist by an independent research body, the Regional network program which aims to support our regional stakeholders, the development of a scholarship program for post-graduate students and a pilot project to support workplaces and injured workers.
All funding has been allocated for this financial year but keep an eye out for opportunities in 2012!
