Exciting new online resource

Check out Return to work zone, a new and exciting online space for rehabilitation and return to work coordinators. It's full of handy resources, helpful links and access to great online tools.

The zone aims to:

  • link rehabilitation and return to work coordinators with industry news and events
  • provide practical advice and tips on return to work
  • provide helpful guides, checklists and educational material
  • provide a central point for online info about rehabilitation and return to work.

Access Return to work zone at qcomp.com.au and click on 'I am a rehabilitation and return to work coordinator'.

A current feature of the zone is a great online resource called HabitAtWork. It's an educational tool promoting the prevention and management of discomfort pain and injury in your work environment.

HabitAtWork has two programs, one for the office and one for an industrial work environment, with both including interactive activities and quizzes to reinforce basic ergonomic and pain management principles. HabitAtWork can be used to educate workers on how to avoid pain, disability and injury at work plus how to manage discomfort effectively when returning to work after injury.

Return to work zone also has great information on return to work practices. A new resource available is Return to work - a five stage process, which provides information on the important steps in successfully coordinating return to work. You'll also find a PowerPoint presentation on How to develop a return to work system which you can tailor to meet the needs of your organisation.

Check out these resources and much more at Return to work zone
