Welcome

Welcome to our thirteenth issue of Q-COMP Rehabilitation Report, an e-newsletter providing you with important industry news and information about the Queensland workers' compensation scheme.

It's nearly that time of the year again for our Return to work Conference, Expo and Awards. The theme for this year's event 'Above and Beyond' celebrates the essence of what we strive for in our industry practices-the essential work and new approaches undertaken to develop and improve a strong back to work culture for Queensland's injured workers.

From almost 500 inspirational nominations, forty-five most deserving rehabilitation and return to work coordinators, insurer case managers, employers and injured workers have been recognised as finalists for our Return to work Awards. Be sure to check out qcompconference.com.au for a full list of this year's finalists.

Our Education Promotion team have been busy getting to know RRTWCs from all over Queensland. Their time away from the office has provided us with invaluable opportunities to touch base and hear about the challenges and successes-we will use this valuable feedback to further improve and develop the services we deliver. You can find out about some of the key learnings and highlights from the team's travels in this issue.

I hope to see you at our Return to work Conference and Expo.
