A primary focus for Q-COMP is to facilitate stakeholders' and service providers' involvement in supporting and progressing the Queensland Workers' Compensation Scheme. A number of forums provide stakeholders with an opportunity to express their views and also gain a better understanding of other stakeholder groups in the scheme. Q-COMP provides information sessions and forums about Queensland's workers' compensation scheme, workplace rehabilitation and return to work for a number of stakeholder groups, including:
  • Workers - injured and non-injured workers and unions
  • Employers - small and large employers, employers in high-risk, employer associations, and rehabilitation and return to work coordinators (RRTWCs)
  • Insurers - WorkCover and self-insurers
  • Medical - specialists/consultants, Medical Assessment Tribunal (MAT) doctors, general practitioners (GPs), international medical graduates (IMGs), registrars, residents, interns, medical students, practice staff, and triage and practice nurses
  • Allied Health - allied health professionals, including dentists, dental students, and dental practice staff
  • Legal - solicitors, barristers, panel barristers, magistrates and law students
