Q-COMP supporting CONROD study

Q-COMP is supporting a study being conducted by CONROD that will evaluate outcomes for people who have sustained injury in road traffic crash (RTC) and work-related (WR) accidents.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the long term health outcomes of patients and identify potentially modifiable factors that may affect recovery including aspects of compensation under different compensation schemes experienced (Compulsory Third Party-CTP vs Workers Compensation Scheme -WCS).

The study will generate information capable of informing policy and practice development in injury management as well as post injury rehabilitation and provide insight into important aspects of compensation schemes in Queensland.

The data from this study will also be benchmarked against data collected in a parallel study in New South Wales.

We will keep you up to date as the study continues.
