New permanent impairment e-learning course for doctors

Assessing an injured worker's permanent impairment is often quite complex and difficult to understand. To help understand this subject we've released a new e-learning course at comprehend.com.au

Comprehend offers free e-learning on workers' compensation in Queensland and has great benefits including:

  • you can come and go when it's convenient for you
  • industry recognised courses and completion certificates
  • medical practitioners can earn 12 (Cat 2) RACGP QA & CPD points.

The Assessment of permanent impairment course provides basic information to help doctors understand permanent impairment assessment and its role in the Queensland workers' compensation scheme. More advanced courses are planned for practitioners highly experienced in permanent impairment assessment.

The basic course covers:

  • requirements for assessing permanent impairment in Queensland
  • basic concepts fundamental to assessment
  • the table of injuries and the Queensland workers' compensation legislation
  • writing a permanent impairment report
  • relevant case studies.

Access the course now at comprehend.com.au or for more info or any questions call us on 1300 789 881 or email health@qcomp.com.au.
