As part of Q-COMP's commitment to our regional stakeholders, the MAT team are currently conducting tribunals in areas outside of South East Queensland, with the aim of providing easier access for those living in regional areas who have difficulty travelling to attend tribunals in Brisbane.
Historical data shows that workers attending the MAT have travelled from many areas all over Queensland, however the areas that the majority of our workers are travelling from include; Cairns, Townsville and Mackay. With this information, Q-COMP has committed to hold regional tribunals in all these locations within the 2011/2012 financial year.
