The Medical Assessment Tribunal Teams have recently had a review of their structure and processes, the findings recommended the need for a new structure to promote a more streamlined work environment.
The new structure has seen the successful appointment of 2 more Senior Tribunal Coordinators to assist Steve Murray in the role he was managing over the last 18 months.

The successful applicants for these roles were Tammy Manderson and Tracy Cook.
Tammy Manderson joins the MAT team with 17 years experience in workers compensation that includes the previous 7 years in the Review Unit. Tammy has held a diverse range of roles since her commencement in the workers compensation field that has included case management, claims determination and as a Review Officer. For predominately the last 3 years Tammy has been a Team Leader in the Review Unit and was integral in the integration of electronic files and the development of a standardised format of review decisions.
Tammy is responsible for the integration of iPad's for our Tribunal members and is more than willing to assist with any enquiries you may have.
Tracy Cook joins the MAT team subsequent to her role as the Team Leader for the Registration and Administration teams within the Review Unit. Following Tracy's recruitment from Medibank Private in March 2009, Tracy not only helped establish the Registration and Central Administration teams but was also responsible for the teams development into a customer focused Unit that can meet the needs of the rest of the business with efficiency and professionalism. Tracy brings her Team Leader experience and training background into the role of Senior Tribunal Coordinator and looks forward to keeping the training and development opportunities of the MAT team up to date and relevant to encourage continuous improvement within the organisation.
Tammy and Tracy along with Steve welcome any enquiries you may have in relation to the management of the Tribunals.
