2011 is set to be a good year for Richlands local Tim Bailey as he finally returns to the workforce after suffering a severe back injury in 2009 whilst working as a mechanic.

On Thursday 16 December 2010, Q-COMP hosted the annual Chairperson's address at 347 Ann Street.
As in previous years the event was well attended, though an afternoon thunderstorm did result in a few late withdrawals. Those who braved the elements enjoyed informative and sometimes amusing presentations by Elizabeth Woods and Michael Francis on behalf of the Q-COMP management team and tribunal chairs, Jon Douglas, Leigh Atkinson and John North.
The meeting was followed by some light refreshments and members enjoyed the opportunity to relax and socialise with their colleagues.
