Tribunal doctors present at an employer based injury management conference

The Association of Self-Insured Employers of Queensland (ASIEQ) held their two-day employer conference in late March 2010 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The conference focused on lasting change through employer based injury management and was designed to assist employers develop and improve practices to build a strong injury management foundation to achieve better long term outcomes.

Dr John Chalk's presentation titled 'How to make personalities work in rehabilitation' was entertaining and informative while tribunal members Dr Robert Ivers, Professor Leigh Atkinson and Professor Michael O'Rourke joined with their LexiMed colleagues Dr David Morgan and Dr James Rodney in presenting a case study that provided the audience with insight into the diagnosis, treatment and assessment of serious injuries.

The ASIEQ Conference was a great success and if you were unable to attend, you can access a copy of all the presentations at www.asieq.com.au.
