Make a referral to Return to work assist
Referrals are made to Return to work assist by:
- a workers' compensation insurer
- an employer-if their worker agrees to take part
- the worker themselves
- the worker's solicitor
- the worker's union representative
- the worker's medical or allied health professional.
The Return to work assist process is simple:

The Return to work assist team then takes the worker through the
process and assesses the worker's needs. The worker is assisted to
return to work and achieve realistic employment goals.
