Welcome to the winter edition of the Insurer Report in which we
discuss the key changes you need to be aware of in the new
financial year, statistical trends in the scheme, and review past
presentations and upcoming opportunities.
It is an exciting time for our industry, with the nomination
period closing for the Return to work Awards 2011 on 8 July - only
nine days away. So, if you've got a nomination to make or an entry
to complete, be sure to log on and be recognised for your efforts
at getting injured workers back to work.
One amazing Awards nominee is Gary Watson, a former jackeroo who
couldn't return to work after a horse he was breaking fell on him.
Gary was referred to the team at Return to work assist, and his
full story can be read in this edition of the Insurer Report.
I'd like to take this opportunity to remind you to register for
the Return to work Conference coming up in October in Brisbane. The
full Conference Program is now available online and delegate places
are filling up fast.
As always, we'd love to hear your thoughts via the comments
section or an email to comms@qcomp.com.au
See you at the Conference.
