Permanent impairment assessment course is not just for medical professionals

A popular session at the 2010 ASIEQ Conference was a case scenario conducted by a panel of LexiMed specialists.

The specialists led the audience through the process each specialty (orthopaedic, neurosurgery, general surgery and psychiatric) undertook in assessing the permanent impairments of a seriously injured worker.

If you would like to understand more about the assessment of permanent impairment a free course is available on Comprehend. This course is designed to assist doctors and insurer case managers to understand the requirements of assessing PI. It covers the legislation, AMA Guides 4th Edition and the Table of Injuries with respect to the workers' compensation scheme in Queensland.

Once completing the course, you will be able to download your certificate of completion instantly.

Comprehend is free and easy to access at comprehend.com.au
