Insurer training forum in early 2012

Q-COMP has engaged the services of the Office of the Queensland Ombudsman to offer training to insurers. The theme will be 'good decision making' and topics will include:

  • record keeping tips and traps
  • tips to assist with timely decision making
  • information gathering and statement taking
  • natural justice and understanding when it is required
  • tips to assist in improving the efficiency and clarity of reasons for decisions
  • complaints management - what should be recorded and how to respond.

 

The one day training session is scheduled for 21 March 2012.  Invitations to attend will be sent in the new year.

Just wondering whether this training will be available in Regional Areas also or is it only planned for Brisbane?

Hi Tina, at this stage the training in March will only be available in Brisbane however depending on the success of the initial course, we will consider our options.
