Insurer quarterly risk profile review

The insurer quarterly risk profile is currently under review. With compulsory referral of certain finalised statutory claims to Return to work assist, Q-COMP is now placing greater emphasis on ensuring that referrals are made promptly and this is being monitored and appropriate licence conditions are also being considered for all self-insurers.

To ensure quality outcomes from the Review process, Insurer Advisors are also monitoring each insurer's "outcomes for review" in monthly reports. Currently the percentage confirmed at review for the scheme is 60.2%. Insurer advisors are working with each insurer to achieve better than this figure.

The review of the performance risk profiles will consider inclusion of each of these as separate categories.
