Return to work assist results for 2010 - 2011
From 1st July 2010, legislation requires insurers to refer
injured workers who were not employed at the end of their claim, to
Q-COMP's return to work assist program. For 2010-2011, 2,371
injured workers were referred to this program.

Self-insurers annual comparative reports
Q-COMP is currently preparing the comparative reports and it is
anticipated that they will be due for release around 30 October,
and recipients can expect to receive their copy in early November.
The report will be in a similar format to last year's and will
contain the same tables and graphs.

New Chair at ASIEQ
The Annual General Meeting of the Association of Self Insured
Employers in Queensland (ASIEQ) on the 27th October 2011
will see the current Chairperson Bill Nevin stepping down and
Victoria Barham from Woolworths taking up the role of Chairperson
for the next two years.

The Regional Network Program is a new initiative aimed at
