Call for submissions for allied health fee review

We're currently reviewing the tables of costs for allied health services. As part of this review, we're inviting submissions from interested stakeholders.

The aim of the review is to establish fair and reasonable tables of costs for allied health services under the Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003.

We're responsible for reviewing and determining the medical and rehabilitation services fees every three years plus CPI indexing every year.

The review will consider the table of costs used by insurers for services delivered by both registered and non-registered allied health providers including:

  • Chiropractors
  • Dentists
  • Exercise physiologists
  • Nursing
  • Occupational therapists
  • Osteopaths
  • Physiotherapists
  • Podiatrists
  • Psychologists
  • Rehabilitation support
  • Return to work
  • Speech pathologists
  • Supplementary
