Share in the experience with Return to work journey

Share the experience of an injured worker, rehabilitation and return to work coordinator and treating doctor through Q-COMP'S Return to work journey podcasts.

The series follows three important players in the return to work journey.

Use the podcasts to inform:

  • your manager
  • an injured worker and
  • work colleagues about your role in the industry.

The podcasts feature Lesley, who two years ago suffered a serious shoulder injury when working as a retail sales manager. The injury required surgery and six months of rehabilitation. Despite the challenges of being in intense pain, Lesley demonstrates how a great attitude towards rehabilitation and return to work can lead to a rewarding new career.

Ursula, the Rehabilitation and Return to work Coordinator at Scenic Rim Regional Council is passionate about her role in helping injured workers make a safe return to work. Ursula shares her experience in developing successful rehabilitation and return to work practices and has some great ideas and strategies for other rehabilitation and return to work coordinators to implement in the workplace.

Finally, Dr Adam treats patients who have been injured at work and helps them achieve a full recovery and return to work after their injury. Dr Adam explains how good communication, early intervention and employer support are crucial to the success of a return to work program.
