Robert Ropati
Robert was working on a scaffold which started to topple as he
was dismantling it. To avoid being caught in the fall, Robert
jumped off which resulted in significant injuries to his knee and
hip.
Robert was told there was a chance he would not be able to
return to carpentry, so contacted Return to work assist to see what
options were available. After identifying an opportunity for Robert
to complete a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Return to
work assist were able to enrol him in the course at no cost to
Robert.
Through his dedication and with the help and encouragement from
Return to work assist, Robert was able to return to work as a first
year carpentry teacher for a local training organisation.
