Gary Watson
Gary was working on a cattle station as a horse breaker when a
horse reared and fell on top of him, severely injuring both of his
shoulders. After extensive physio and eight months without work,
Gary was referred to Return to work assist to help him get back
into the workforce.
Gary met with the team at Return to work assist, and was
presented with a variety of available options. He decided to move
into a role as an assistant in nursing and with the help of Return
to work assist enrolled in classes to gain the skills he
needed.
Gary now has a position in transitional care where he has worked
for the past five months.
