our strategic direction. Elizabeth oversees our business teams,
which are focused on delivering excellent customer service and
achieving stakeholder satisfaction, supported by our Q-COMP
Leadership Team (QLT).
Customer Service Group provides our internal
financial services and coordinates our information technology
needs.
Education Promotion Team provides external and
internal education solutions (e.g. online learning, seminars,
conferences and publications) and workers' compensation and
rehabilitation advice and support.
Data Management & Analytics monitors trends
and identifies and reports on scheme-wide issues and
statistics.
Health and Tribunal Services provides
information and education to allied health and medical
professionals and provides administrative support to the medical
assessment tribunals.
Insurer Services Unit manages
insurer compliance and performance and issues
self-insurance licences.
Our Review and Administration Unit manages
reviews of workers' compensation decisions - claim decisions
and premium/policy decisions.
Our Legal Services Unit provides us with
specialist advice on administrative law matters.
Our Appeals Unit manages appeals by workers and employers of
Q-COMP review decisions .
The Return to work assist team offers help
to workers at risk of long-term unemployment to access training
and/or job placement services to achieve realistic career
goals.
Marketing Communications provides communication
expertise in marketing, public relations, customer relations and
internal communications.
Human Resources supports our business teams by
managing external payroll services (through Corporate
Administration Agency - CAA), recruitment, human resource
development and change management.
We also have a Medical Advisor on staff
who provides specialist workers' compensation advice to medical and
allied health professionals.
