report is benchmarked against the ARA criteria and the reports that

Special Awards have been introduced to the ARA Awards to
encourage excellence in annual reporting against specific criteria
in the areas of sustainability, governance, occupational health and
safety, online reporting and communication.
Return to work Awards 2009-2011
Since launching the Return to work Awards in 2009 we have
received over 1300 nominations across Queensland. In 2011 we
achieved 335 nominations for our Return to work Awards. You can

Return to work assist 2009-2011
In 2009 we assisted over 200 injured workers return to work.
This increased dramatically in 2010 with referrals to Return to
work assist becoming mandatory for employees who did not have a job
to return to at the end of their claim. Although participation
remains voluntary, we have been able to assist over 1500 workers
through the program with over 500 able to return to work throughout
the year - with 20% requiring retraining or upskilling.
